Robotic process automation journey
We began our RPA journey in August 2022, and as of this September, robots are issuing 89% of sales documents across six countries within our scope.
What is more, we completed the following two initiatives:
1. Robot for issuing credit notes and closing related workflow tickets (Germany) – A multi-team project led by RBS TSC. The objective was to establish a robotic process to manage approved workflow tickets for sales invoice corrections, issue the required document, add document links and close the ticket. In the first month after launch, robots issued 50% of all credit notes. Sounds good?
2. Robot for invoicing per shipment (Romania) – This project, led by our teammates in cooperation with RPA department, aimed to create an on-demand invoicing process to support cases where customers, due to business needs, require invoicing outside the regular monthly schedule.
