Raben Trans European Germany GmbH is the most robotized business unit within the RBS TSC portfolio. Robots are used for issuing invoices, self-invoicing notes and implementing customer tariffs. In late August, we began preparations to implement a robot for subcontractor tariffs. Idea of the team was developed by Piotr Łajdecki and Pawel Otfinowski – they made great job! The project involved several steps, including the standardization of tariff structures in TMS, updating the layout used for tariff requests (after consultation with German operations) and preparing a macro that would generate and send data to the robot. At the beginning of October, we initiated the solution in the production. The effectiveness of the solution in week 41 was 39% (4 out of 10 tariffs were implemented by the robot), but by week 46, it had increased to 71% (7 out of 10 by the robot). The target effectiveness for the robot is 90% (9 out of 10), allowing the robot to process 2,500 tariffs throughout the year.
