Skill Rotation Programme – how to develop yourself in a safe environment
Working at Raben Group offers many development opportunities, one of which is the Skill Rotation program. Paweł, an accountant in the receivables department, participated in the program and shared his thoughts about it.
Paweł: I decided to join the Skill Rotation program after being promoted to senior specialist. I wanted to explore further opportunities within the company. It’s definitely worth taking advantage of such programs as they provide a chance to learn new things and gain insights into other areas of the business, all within a familiar and safe environment. It’s not a drastic change, but it’s definitely beneficial.
Ola: How did this experience impact your perspective on accounting?
Paweł: It helped me gain a better understanding of the processes in other teams, making me more aware of different needs and perspectives.
Ola: What was the most challenging aspect of joining the Special Projects team
Paweł: I found it challenging to adapt to a more creative way of thinking. There was also a lot of new knowledge to absorb, but it was motivating and satisfying.
Ola: What are your future plans?
Paweł: I intend to apply this knowledge and further develop myself in projects. I’ve already participated in seven, and it’s an enjoyable challenge that keeps everyday tasks from becoming monotonous. Even if I don’t decide to switch roles, it’s a great way to refresh my mindset. 😊
